Vater Nude Series 5b Wood Tip Drumsticks

Few drumsticks feature the same level of engineering that Vater Percussion put into the Mike Mangini Wicked Piston, and the results are amazing. They're significantly longer than typical drumsticks, and there's a slight swell in the middle that's easier to feel than see. This unique shape makes it so the balance is significantly different depending on where you hold the stick. Gripping closer to the middle gives you a light and balanced feel. Need more power? Don't flip your stick around - just slide your hand back for the tip-weighted action you need. What's more, the Wicked Piston's acorn tip dishes out serious volume without pitting your heads, and the rim shot you can get out of these sticks is simply phenomenal.

• Specialty American hickory drumsticks designed by drum virtuoso Mike Mangini
• Mid-stick swell (0.58" to 0.62") provides a different balance wherever you grip
• Grip the middle for a lighter, balanced feel or back for a tip-weighted feel for added power
• Extra-long stick design allows you to move your hand freely, without running out of space
• Acorn tip shape delivers a massive transient sound while reducing drumhead pitting
